Latest news

It would appear that both Nigel Farage and the pilot of the plane that crashed, Justin Adams, are doing better than was feared at first. They are both being kept in hospital, different hospitals, as Mr Adams seems to have suffered leg and back injuries and has been taken to a specialist unit in Coventry.

Nigel is now in the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and will be kept under observation for a couple of days. He is, as anyone who knows him would expect, talking whenever he is conscious and has, according to Lord Pearson of Rannoch, "told Ukip's Banbury candidate Dr Sebastian Fairweather, who gained access to him in hospital, to 'stop worrying about me, get back out there and get out the vote'."

Meanwhile, UKIP has put up some photos from the campaign trail, that feature, Lord Pearson, Nigel Farage and Christopher Gill, among others.

  1. Great news. They have both been extremely lucky to get out of that crash alive. The pictures of the wreckage make me wonder how on earth they were not seriously hurt, or worse.

    Someone was watching over them.

Good luck today and send best wishes to both men.

  2. What Jared said.

I think we are going to see some huge numbers for UKIP today. And rightly so.

    CR.

  3. I'm glad to see our leader Mr. Nigel Farage and Justin Adams have more jam than Hartleys.
Seeing the pictures of the crash, I myself cannot believe how they survived the impact.
I give my best wishes for there speedy recovery.

  4. Hmm 17 tory targets lost by less than the UKIP vote.
Surely this represents a major victory for UKIP since it so clearly rests on Dave C. reneguing on he referendum commitment.
    Congratulations are in order :D:D

  5. I'd love to see a poll along the lines of:
"If you had known that the EU were going to take billions from Britain to support the Euro, and that Britain would be powerless to stop it how would you have voted?"

    Could UKIP afford this?
