UKIP is the first party to publish its full manifesto, as well as individual policies. This may have something to do with the fact that the party sees no need to wait for the details of the forthcoming budget as a political manifesto should deal with general issues. ReplyDeleteInsist all UKIP candidates start blogs yesterday, regular blogging and answering comments is worth days of door-knocking.
Open the forums to non-members and allow unregistered comments, we've done this at EURef and the spammers are a nuisance, but it draws in lurkers and gets them commenting.
The internet gets into more homes than even the BBC or broadsheets and I'm sure it is the key to as many UKIP seats a possible.
I'm willing to help with general web-geekery.
If UKIP can get through to the disenfranchised true blue tories then the election will be vastly entertaining.
UKIP members and, particularly candidates are encouraged to start blogs as soon as possible and there will be a move to link from the main website to as many of them as possible. As you see SandyRham, this blog has open comments, which are not even moderated at this stage.
